Ever since I designed the dollhouse nursery collection fabrics, I've dreamed of adding lamps to each collection.  Most of them designed themselves in my head long before my hands went to work, making them a reality. 

Each lamp is handmade by me, the product of my 

over-active imagination.   :)

Time to Tend to the Garden

In theory, I like gardening in real life.  In reality, what

I really like is the end result of all of that hard

work -- a beautiful garden!  Unless, of course,

the fruit of my labors has been eaten up by the

bugs, trampled down by the neighbors' cats, or otherwise

assaulted by one of nature's forces.  ;)

Gardening in mini, on the other hand, can be

just as challenging, but rarely results in a

sunburn, lol.

The secret to growing a great-looking miniature

plant is, of course, starting with a good

potting soil.

Invasion of the Monsters...cute, lovable lil monsters!

Monsters -- Mischievous Monsters, to be exact -- have invaded the Whimsy workshop!

Easily amused and in love with all things ironic, I couldn't stop giggling while designing this set.

Turning the feared 'monsters under the bed' fable on its head, I put the monsters 

on top of the bed! 

And then I created accessories for a completely coordinated,

professional look.

Time Flies When You're Having Fun...

Has it really been a whole year since I last blogged?!?  

Where does the time go?!?

The Mini Les Bois Dollhouse Miniature Show & Sale 2014 was awesome!  I met some new collectors, new artisans, and had a great time.
